Stoney Broke
Trip Information Stoney Broke can offer a variety of trips depending on
the customers requirements, and also the weather!!
We specialise in offering 3 hour trips suitable for beginners and youngsters
and are only £12 per person with all fishing tackle provided. These trips
run twice a day during Spring and Summer school holidays, weather permitting.
The times are as follows: 10.00 am to 1.00 pm & 2.00 pm to 5.00 pm
They are fantastic value and are a brilliant way of seeing if boat fishing
is for you, the type of fishing we do is called 'jigging' which involves
getting a set of lures onto the sea bed and then 'jigging' them up & down,
this works especially well when the water is clear if the sea is not so
clear then we would tip the hooks with strips of bait, so that the fish
get a scent trail as well as a visual bait. We do this type of fishing on
the drift, which basically means that the boat is moving along with the
tide, over 'clean' and 'rough' ground. We are licensed for up to 12 anglers,
children will also need adult supervision.
ALL BAIT & TACKLE IS PROVIDED IN THE PRICE!!
We also cater for the more experienced or adventurous angler with a variety
of trips varying in length & venue, these are as follows:
6 hours £25 per person
8 hours £30 per person
10 hours £35 per person
These trips are available either over rough & clean ground or 'wrecking'
or a mixture of both.
If wrecking is chosen then the anglers will have to provide their own terminal
tackle, as losses can be quite high. Rods & Scarborough Pin Reels can be
provided but we would rather that you use your own. Please note that the
minimum number of Angler's for these trips is 6 the maximum is 12 as per
our license.
Other hours are available please tell us your requirements and if the boat
is available we will try to cater for your needsViews over the harbour and the Grand Turk
